Kim Kardashian, Alyssa Milano Among Celebrities Forced To Evacuate By Woolsey Fire

The fires raging in California right now are threatening large populated areas and the latest news out of the state declared that Kim Kardashian West, Alyssa Milano, and many other celebrities were forced to evacuate their homes. The cause of the evacuation is the Woolsey Fire that is sweeping across Los Angeles County destroying everything in its path.

On Friday, Kim Kardashian revealed that the fire had reached her home she shares with her husband Kanye West but the flames were "contained". She wrote, "I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment. It doesn’t seem like it is getting worse right now, I just pray the winds are in our favor. God is good. I’m just praying everyone is safe."

The fire began Thursday night and was already to Malibu and the Pacific Ocean by Friday prompting hasty evacuations from Malibu, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, and other nearby cities. Kardashian documented the terrifying evacuation on her Instagram story from her private plane. "Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe," she wrote on Twitter.

Another Kardashian family member, Kourtney, was also forced to evacuate her home. "I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight," Kourtney wrote in her own Instagram story as she loaded suitcases into a packed trunk.

Another of the Kardashian sisters who also live in Calabasas, Khloe Kardashian, also updated her situation on Twitter and said she and her 6-month-old baby are staying with her brother Rob Kardashian.

Khloe later updated her situation again saying, "I can’t believe this is happening!!! May God bless us all! I can not believe what is happening! Completely devastating for anyone who loses tangible memories and the security of their homes. Thank you to EVERYONE who has a hand in helping. I’ve never seen anything like this".

Alyssa Milano also lives in Calabasas and revealed that her family also had to evacuate. Milano said her children and horses were safe but her home is still "in jeopardy." The actress also said that she had only an hour to pack and evacuate her home. "Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe," Milano tweeted.

Milano added, "Horses are finally safe. My children are safe. My home is in jeopardy but… everything with a heartbeat is safe. Thank you all for your concern." She also added, "To those who insisted on still being hurtful because our political affiliation is different, you are what is wrong with the country."

The only family member to lose their home so far has been the former-stepparent of the Kardashians, Caitlyn Jenner. TMZ reported that the house Jenner had lived in since 2015 caught fire on Friday. Jenner posted an update to her Instagram account where she reported, "We're safe at a safe house. Don't know if the house made it or not. It's still up in the air."
