"Think of the children" is a common refrain for rousing support for unpopular laws or protective measures. But are our priorities as a society really with the children. Why is it that drug use and pushing dime bags of weed can sometimes net more time than possessing child pornography or even raping a child? Coronavirus has exacerbated this as there are now people being charged for not wearing masks while people who actually endanger society to a far greater degree walk free.
