Mort Sahl died in his home at 94 on October 26. Despite the number of positive things said about him in the mainstream media, one thing that is glossed over or barely mentioned is the sacrifice he made for truth. His outspoken opinion on the JFK assassination, the Warren Commission and the Vietnam War led to him being effectively routed out of the entertainment industry.
I spoke with Camille Blinstrub, a family friend of Sahl, about what he meant to her and to the world.
