A statue of the Satanic Temple was revealed at a rally attended by dozens at the Arkansas State Capitol Thursday. The rally was held in the wake of the Arkansas legislature approving that the Ten Commandments monument could be placed on Capitol grounds. The Satanic Temple revealed the giant statue at the rally on Capitol grounds which lasted more than 8 hours.

The moment the Ten Commandments monument was installed in the Capitol grounds the Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit to have its own statue placed on the same grounds. The lawsuit cited religious pluralism and the First Amendment in the argument that the Satanic Temple also deserved to sit anywhere the Ten Commandments did.
The Satanic Temple sent a letter to legislators in Arkansas in 2017 asking for the state's lawmakers to sponsor a bill that would allow a Baphomet statue on capital grounds. Not a single lawmaker responded to the Temple's request.

Five speakers spoke for the Satanic Temple rally including a spokesperson and co-founder of the group Lucien Greaves. "The event is intended to be an inclusive gathering where The Satanic Temple will be celebrating pluralism along with Christian and secular speakers," Greaves said. "People of many faiths will come together at the Capitol to reject the Arkansas State Legislature's efforts to privilege one religion over others."
Arkansas State Senator Jason Rapert issued a statement regarding the Satanic Temple rally on Facebook.

If I ever make it to arkansas there's going to be one less statue! Sick ass people!
Ah, Satanists, the Edgelord atheist stepkid of Christians with no ideology or care about the future other than trying to one-up Christians, while being a bunch of pussies to other religions.
the moron posters here are TOTALLY MISSING THE POINT so now i have to spell it out to them.
the folks with the devil statue ARE ATHEISTS not "devil worshipers". they are making an excellent point to keep church and state SEPARATE as our constitution demands. If the courts allow The Ten Commandments to be displayed in a public arena then all religious NUTS will demand to have a statue of their beliefs displayed. get it? soon the muslim nuts will demand that passages from their Koran be displayed and then the Sikhs and then the Buddhists et…. to make the irony even richer, Satan exists only in the frail minds of the moron masses who are angered at his visage. lol……SUPERSTITIOUS FOOLS.
Yea and then some damn satanic worshiper ran his vehicle into the 10 commandments monument destroying it! They're all headed to the lake of fire and to stupid to know it! Satanist usually end up having child sacrifices and are usually pedophiles! They're master doesn't teach good you know! Where's all the christians? God help us!
