UK Easter Snow Possible With ‘Beast From The East 3.0’

Anyone in Britain watching the weather talk on the telly tonight will be throwing something to their TV unfortunately as the UK Met office has just changed their forecast for the next week to ‘still no spring’ but rather ‘snow for Good Friday’, and possibly over Easter as well.

Yes, the Beast from the East which has been haunting Europeans for over a month now (firstly it came from Siberia, then from Scandinavia) will return for one more time before Spring finally enters, and it looks like we’re all set for a snowy Easter.

The bet-hungry British will be running to their bookies who have slashed the odds on a white Easter after forecasters warned temperatures will plunge next week as from Wednesday, Thursday again.

Indeed, April 1st and still no sunshine and temperatures in the mid-20s but rather freezing conditions and snow.

Eastern European countries like Bulgaria and Romania got hit already with large packs of snow this week and over there as well the cold spell will continue well into April.

Dr Todd Crawford, chief meteorologist at The Weather Channel: “As we head into April, most computer forecast models suggest we will get at least one more big cold spell before the blocking pattern fades, with warmer and wetter weather confined to parts of southern Europe.”
