First lady Melania Trump made a surprise visit to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach to deliver Easter baskets and some cheer to children there ahead of the holiday.
Melania brought Easter baskets consisting of several items including a plush toy, crayons, coloring books, White House playing cards, a book, and 2018 commemorative wooden Easter eggs for the children to enjoy.
The first lady’s visit was not announced until her communications director Stephen Grisham tweeted about it. Grishm posted: “Great visit today! The children lit up when @flotus walked in the room. Thank you to @StMarysMC for allowing us to stop by.”

Grisham shared that Melania visited patients in their rooms. She also thanked the medical staff for their dedication to work.
Melania who has been in Florida for the last week on spring break with son Barron at their family resort Mar-a-Lago also took to Twitter to share her experience of the visit to the children at the said hospital. She wrote: “Enjoyed my visit to @StMarysMC today. So great to spend time with some of their brave patients and hardworking doctors and nurses.”

The hospital responded and also posted a message on Twitter: “On behalf of our patients and our staff, our CEO, Gabrielle Finley-Hazel, wants to thank @FLOTUS for the cheer and joy she delivered to the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s today.”

President Trump joined Melania and Barron at Mar-a-Lago late Thursday. Before coming to Florida, the President stopped near Cleveland in Richfield, Ohio to give a speech promoting infrastructure spending. He also discussed a range of topics including the midterm elections, the opioid crisis, the ratings for Roseanne Barr’s new sitcom and moving the U.S. embassy in Israel from where it is now in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

I can understand the need for such Surprise visits, given the Far Left Radicals vindictive and physically harmful protests.
