Earlier this week, Texas Senator Mr. Ted Cruz and his wife Heidi were forced out of the ‘Fiola’ restaurant in Washington DC by angry protesters (in the same manner that Homeland Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, unfortunately, had to experience earlier in the year, see our related coverage) angry about the ongoing Judge Kavanaugh hearings.
Unfortunately, the tale didn’t stop there as the owner of the D.C. restaurant claim that his staff and even members of their families have now received death threats.

Mr. Fabio Trabocchi wrote in a statement: "I am blessed to work with the staff who have handled the harassment and life-threatening messages we and our families have received in the wake of the event."

The restaurant's Yelp page has since Mr. Cruz’s visit received a wide variety of comments, some praising the patrons’ hospitability to allow the Cruz couple to eat, others slamming them for hosting the Texas politician.

Yelp has since stated it would work to remove both the positive and negative responses.
Restaurant owner Mr. Trabocchi claimed: "In the past 24 hours, security and privacy consultants and investigators have implemented additional safety and security measures across our restaurants to ensure the ongoing and future privacy, safety and security of our staff and guests."
Also earlier this year, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was infamously asked by the patron of a restaurant called The Red Hen in Virginia to leave the premises.
The small town where the restaurant is located is since then attempting to remake its reputation as the region’s tourism board admitted it is in desperate need of positive coverage after the Sanders controversy.

More than likely the same A-holes that were screaming at Cruz are now doubling down and threatening the owners to deflect from their publicized criminal behavior.
The scariest thing is people angry because they believe something that isn't true or they refuse to understand nuances. They are entrenched in all or nothing thinking. The fluidity and resiliency gifted to us by our founders is lost on them. They live in their lizard brain and want to destroy all who dare ask them a question.
