Florida - XXXTentacion’s Murder Captured On Video

Footage of the shooting death of 20-year-old rapper XXXTentacion was shown in a Broward County court hearing Thursday. The video was taken by surveillance cameras near where 20-year-old XXXTentacion, whose full name is Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was shot and killed in an ambush-style robbery.

The video shows Onfroy walking into a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida where he was killed on June 18, 2018. Two suspects can be seen following behind Onfroy and another angle shows Onfroy's BMW get blocked by an SUV as the two suspects get out and brandish weapons.

There is a short scuffle before Onfroy is shot and the two attackers run off with a Louis Vuitton bag which reportedly held $50,000 in cash. The footage was shown during the discovery and bail hearing for suspect Robert Allen, the third man to be arrested and charged with Onfroy's murder.

A mugshot was released showing the third suspect, Robert Allen. In total, four men have been indicted, arrested, and charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm. Assistant chief deputy U.S. marshal for Miami Manny Puri said Broward Sheriff's Office deputies and marshals received a tip last July that Allen might be hiding out with his sister in Georgia.

When police surrounded Allen's sister's home, she came out and reportedly "was extremely cooperative and confirmed Allen's presence," according to Puri. Allen was then taken without incident and booked into the Dodge County, Georgia jail where he waited to be extradited. Now, Allen like his fellow murderers awaits their judgment.

Prosecutors told the court that the attack carried out by Allen and three others, Dedrick Devonshay Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome was deliberate and premeditated. All four suspects were identified and in police custody by August but pleaded not guilty. Broward Sheriff Scott Israel called the incident a "tragic shooting" and vowed to "bring those who did it to justice".

Onfroy was a rapper who was gaining popularity and just this week Hip Hop legend Lil Wayne released his 12th studio album titled "Tha Carter V" and on the first track on it features Onfroy. The Lil Wayne track featuring XXXTentacion is called "Don't Cry". Rapper Kanye West also released a song featuring XXXTentacion on his latest album.

Charging documents reveal Boatwright and Newsome were both armed when they attempted to rob Onfroy but investigators say it was Boatwright who discharged his handgun killing the 20-year-old Onfroy. Boatwright claimed that prosecutors violated his 14th amendment rights to due process by withholding documents and information that could help his case. 2018 has claimed the lives of many talented public figures including rapper Lil Peep, DJ Avicii, rapper XXXtentacion, rapper Mac Miller, Stephen Hawking, and Verne Troyer, the actor who played "Mini-Me" in Austin Powers to name a few. Lil Peep's YouTube channel is continuously updated with new music, it is unclear if the rapper's friends or family are continuing to edit and release songs he recorded before his overdose death earlier this year.

Among the songs released after the rapper's death is a collaboration with XXXtentacion titled "Falling Down". The video has already garnered nearly 30 million views and is especially moving to know that both rappers barely in their 20's are already deceased.
