Police say a witness reported a disturbance at a resident and when deputies arrived, a woman told them that 27-year-old Jamie Schaunaman had threatened to hurt her.
When deputies attempted to take Schaunaman into custody, she resisted and even punched one of them. The deputy who Schaunaman punched sustained minor injuries which resulted in Schaunaman receiving an additional charge of third-degree assault on a peace officer.
She was booked into Harris County jail on a no-bond hold.
