A woman got so highly intoxicated that when confronted by a police officer, she threatened to physically hurt and even kill him.
The woman has been identified as Helena Hamilton, 54, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She allegedly threatened to kill the responding Central Bucks Regional officer when he was called to deal with her at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon on June 19 at the Farmhouse Tavern in Doylestown.
Hamilton did not stop with the verbal threats, she also became physically violent. She proceeded to kick him in the shoulder and the face.
She clearly went overboard. The Central Bucks Regional Police Department said: “Hamilton was extremely belligerent and unable to stand steady.”
Responding cops found Hamilton emitting a strong odor of alcohol, slurring her speech and acting extremely inappropriately. They also noted her bloodshot eyes and inability to stand properly.
Aside from threatening and assaulting one officer, Hamilton allegedly also rejected a request for a blood draw as is procedural and opted to continue threatening others.
Hamilton will have to be accountable for her actions, intoxicated or not. She is now facing charges of aggravated assault and DUI.
