California - NJ Woman Charged For Hacking Selena Gomez’s Email

A woman hacked the email of singer Selena Gomez and one of the celebrity’s associates. The woman has been charged with 11 felonies for the offenses.

The woman has been identified as 21-year-old Susan Antrach of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The Los Angeles County prosecutors said Antrach has been charged with five identity-theft counts, five fraud counts and one count of accessing and using data without permission.

Prosecutors accuse Antrach of accessing the accounts of Gomez, 25, and her unnamed associate several times back in 2015 and 2016. She is also accused of posting private media from the accounts online.

If proven guilty, Antrach can face nearly 10 years in prison. She has not entered a plea. Prosecutors are also not aware if Antrach has acquired a lawyer at this point.
